Holy Family School is a Catholic elementary school serving students from the culturally, socially, and economically diverse community of San Diego. We are an integral part of the Holy Family Parish community which provides support and encouragement in our mission to bring a comprehensive, Catholic education to all our students.
Student-centered programs and curriculum promote the growth and development of all children at Holy Family School. The faculty and staff recognize and support the parents as primary educators and living role models for their children. Catholic principles are the foundation for the spiritual, academic, physical, and emotional growth of each student, celebrating their individual uniqueness.
Faculty and staff model the Gospel values to students. Students learn to value self-respect, responsibility, respect for others, and the ideals of unity and equality. Peace and justice are fostered along with social and cultural awareness as students are encouraged to put their faith into action through service projects. Students are nurtured in growth of their spiritual life and individual faith journeys within the context of our Catholic community.
Holy Family School clearly acknowledges the diverse challenges of our students and strives to meet their varied academic needs. Developing our students’ critical and analytical thinking skills is encouraged through the acquisition of knowledge and diverse experiences within the community. We cultivate life-long learners with the skills to be successful in life.
Parents, students, alumni, and community resources support and encourage us in achieving our mission. Through loving guidance, cooperative effort, hard work, and prayer Holy Family students are holistically prepared to participate actively in the life of the family, parish, and community.
